Willie-Nillie

Its pouring rain outside

So inside my house I hide.

I could hear it pounding on my roof

And the windows! Oh how they shook!

But under warm blankets I did lay,

And to my heavenly father I began to pray.

I'm so grateful for the earth as she opens her arms,

and welcomes the rain with all its charms.

On my roof the raindrops patter,

And my worries of the day don't seem to matter.

I trust in a God that loves his creations,

Who soon will solve, the problems of the nations.

I know this poem is a little silly,

But it came to my head just willie-nillie.

I'm posting it on my Blog and hoping some day,

that my family will read it when I've gone away.

Love Y'all
